The Center welcomes the assistance of both local and international volunteers. The Center has many local university students helping out
responding to telephone hotline enquiries, conducting research, translating documents and assisting with the general administration of the Center. The Center is also currently hosting an Australian Youth Ambassador for Development in partnership with AusAID, the Australian Government overseas aid agency.
For international volunteers, we offer an opportunity to gain invaluable personal and professional experience. Learn about the fascinating country that is China from the nation's vibrant and exciting capital city, Beijing, whilst sharing your skills and knowledge and making a positive contribution to China's development. To volunteer at the Center, you must have or be studying for a Bachelor Degree in Law, Labor Relations, Sociology or a related field. Experience working in labor rights protection or with an NGO, law firm or government is preferred. Chinese language skills are an advantage but not essential.
